每種礦物除了基本型以外，還有另外兩種變異型，其中一種變異型可提煉出來的礦物比基本型多5%，另外一種變異型可提煉的礦物比基本型多10%，例如：

• Veldspar可提煉1000單位的Tritanium。
• Concentrated Veldspar可提煉1050單位的Tritanium。
• Dense Veldspar可提煉1100單位的Tritanium。

此外，Mercoxit系列礦石需要Deep Core Mining技術才能開採。
